  • WONDERFUL

I’ve been a fan of Ryan’s dry, snappy and well thought out broadcasts for the past few years. When Kate Hawksby left I couldn’t imagine who could possibly follow, but by god Ryan’s done it!

He presents the facts, asks the questions we all want answered and is relentless in his approach. Couldn’t imagine a better result.

  • Leaning

This station certainly leans to the ‘right’ in this weird woke world. But that’s obvious and god knows we need something to balance out the bias in the other direction.

Andrew Tuck: Homegrown CEO on the festival's return to Hamilton, this year's lineup
Q: How is the broader travel situation affecting the festival?
Since all the acts are local, the immediate travel impact is limited, but there is an expectation that consequences could roll through over the next 12 months as global conditions evolve.
Andrew Tuck: Homegrown CEO on the festival's return to Hamilton, this year's lineup
Q: Are the ticket sales meeting expectations?
Ticket sales are looking really good and on track to meet our goals, although overall profitability is tempered by rising costs and ticket price pressures.
Andrew Tuck: Homegrown CEO on the festival's return to Hamilton, this year's lineup
Q: What's the lineup looking like this year?
The lineup is our strongest yet, with a mix of top acts like Super Groove and Fly My Pretties returning, plus Hello Sailor marking a 50-year milestone, bringing together the young, the new, and the old.
Irene King: Aviation Industry Commentator on the Westport to Wellington flight link being unsustainable
Q: So, what happens now?
It might be sustainable for unscheduled casual operations, but for a schedule operation, it's a fixed cost and very tough to attract new operators.
