  • Great Disney Planning!

Rob and Eric do a GREAT job showing how to plan your park day. My daughter and I enjoy watching the YouTube videos of their strategies and explanations of the MyDisney Experience app. We have used Rob and Eric’s park strategy in Hollywood Studios back during our last visit (Genie Plus days) and were able to finish all the rides, two shows, breakfast and lunch by 130 PM. One thing would like to see for families with younger kids, a park strategy video with a pedometer to see how many steps or ... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Top Food Picks at Magic Kingdom
Q: Is it better to book for three for character dining at three-party parties and add someone later if they can't go?
Booking for three is advised because changes for adding a party member late are often limited; two-top tables are harder to adjust than three-tops, while three-top reservations can more easily accommodate early changes.
Why You Should Consider a Solo Trip to Walt Disney World
Q: We're going on a trip to Disney World for our 25th anniversary without our kids. Do you have suggestions for romantic or affordable things for a couple to do or places to eat that have a romantic flair?
Craig and the hosts suggest intimate World Showcase spots like Shiki Sai and Spice Road Table for shared bites and views, Nomad Lounge for riverside ambiance, and romantic resort options such as Port Orleans Riverside for carriage rides, Sanaa with savanna views at Animal Kingdom Lodge, and the Enchanted Rose lounge at the Grand Floridian. They emphasize affordable, shareable dining experiences, scenic lounges, and experiences outside the parks to create a memorable, romantic evening without breaking the bank.
3 Epcot Strategies for Families, Thrill-Seekers and Going Beyond the Rides
Q: Is it worth getting Lightning Lane multi-pass for a large family when Tier 1s disappear quickly and seven people are in the party?
Yes, the hosts argue that Lightning Lane can save substantial time even for a large group, and starting with a burner attraction to unlock other Tier 1s while coordinating with others helps maximize the day; prioritizing a high-value ride like Guardians early and teaching group members how to use the app can optimize the experience.
Q&A MinnieCast: Are After Hours Events Worth It For Short Waits at Epcot and Hollywood Studios?
Q: For non-US travelers, can you book Lightning Lanes from abroad, or do you have to be in the US?
You can book Lightning Lanes from abroad; the system now supports international access and is not restricted to being physically in the US.
Q&A MinnieCast: Are After Hours Events Worth It For Short Waits at Epcot and Hollywood Studios?
Q: Will arriving at 7:45–8:00 AM for early entry put us in a decent position for a short wait on Test Track, assuming no delayed open?
Yes. Arriving in that window typically shifts some of the wait into the pre-line, and you can achieve a shorter ride wait if you're ready before official park opening.
