Hosts Nigel Poor and Earlonne Woods co-created the show that launched in 2017 while Earlonne was incarcerated at San Quentin State Prison, where Nigel was a volunteer teaching photography. Since Earlonne’s release in... more

Like, constantly. It’s beautiful, heartbreaking, challenging, funny, thoughtful… goddamn, this show is something else entirely. And Erlonne, you’ve got a special place in my heart. Thank you to the whole team that makes Ear Hustle what it is. Just…wow. Thank you.
I enjoy listening to Ear Hustle so much. I love your focus on the personal stories over the crime. I learn a lot!
Great show
I’ve been listening for years and it seems like I should say thanks. Part way through reform school I got to choose to be a “sick kid “ instead of a “bad kid”. I chose sick. It could have turned out otherwise. I’m glad for the view of a world I can relate to.
Long time listener, but first time leaving a review. I just had to come hear and say how much I loved this episode. And I agree with Nigel, when Jesus said “will I see you again” it brought a tear to my eye!
