  • Three’s a Crowd

Ugggg….Tom, I love the Dice Tower but i rarely listen if there are more than 2 people on the show at a time. If I do end up listening my finger hovers over that 30 second fast-forward button on my iPhone. With 3 or more hosts (especially with Joey or Chris) it turns into a morning zoo with everyone trying to “out-funny” each other with insufferable jokes and inside references that NOBODY gets. I’m giving 2 stars because i think that’s your sweet spot of hosts.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Live Q & A with Tom Vasel - July 20, 2026
Q: What has been your favorite Top 10 idea so far?
He liked the concept of Top 10 lists focused on missteps or surprising angles, specifically enjoying a Top 10 list about bad games crafted by a good designer, which yielded interesting discussions and reception.
Live Q&A - with Zee Garcia - June 8, 2026
Q: Max Gray asks what makes you prefer to play online versus in person, considering factors like theme, mechanics, and components.
Zee explains that in-person play is preferred the vast majority of the time due to learning from mistakes in a structured setting, the social and cadence aspects, and the tactile enjoyment of handling pieces, while online play can mitigate upkeep and heavy shuffles for some games.
Live Q&A with Camilla - May 11, 2026
Q: What is Dice Tower East and where is it held?
Dice Tower East is a board game convention organized by Camilla, held in Orlando, with events including 24-hour gaming and related swag, designed to bring together the Dice Tower community.
Live Q&A - with Joey Evans - April 30, 2026
Q: When's the next 3D printing video?
Soon, probably within a couple of weeks; I'm planning to do another monthly print video and have a lot queued up, including more Unmatched inserts.
Live Q&A - with Joey Evans - April 30, 2026
Q: What is your favorite top 10 category that the Dice Tower has done?
I enjoy Thematic top 10s the most because they highlight games that emphasize atmosphere and storytelling, and I'm always drawn to categories that showcase a strong thematic experience.
