這一集節目，我們翻開馮客《解放的悲劇》第四章〈暴風雨〉，談的是中國共產黨奪權初期，在農村發動土地改革時，暴力是如何被一步步制度化，最後徹底改寫整個社會結構。
故事的起點，其實來自毛澤東個人的轉折。從城市裡寫文章、辦報紙的知識分子，到把目光投向農村，他在那裡發現了一股讓他著迷的力量 — 群眾暴力。這種暴力不只是為了消滅對手，更重視羞辱、踐踏與示眾。地主被戴上小丑帽、被拖行示眾，性暴力被寫進報告裡，語氣甚至帶著欣賞。所謂的「暴風雨」，不是自然發生，而是被刻意煽動、引導出來的政治工程。
