  • Divorce advice for the wealthy

    With regards to your discussion with Legal Aid. When my husband left me we had a 500000 mortgage, two small children, I was a stay at home mum with no child care or family support, and I had no money to pay for a lawyer. I had to borrow money from family members to pay the mortgage and living expenses. The plan was to sell the house, however this takes time and requires money up front as well.
