  • Common sense!

What I appreciate about the show is that it can look critically at certain aspects of the world of psychedelics. Most other podcast host don’t think critically about the topic. The guests have been great and represent a range of perspectives and experiences.

Psychedelics Don’t Fix Your Life… Here’s What They Actually Do | Talia Eisenberg
Q: What does Ibogaine change after the experience, and what doesn't it change?
Ibogaine tends to restore agency and reduce reactivity, but it does not erase identity or make someone unrecognizable; lasting change depends on the person's ongoing work, environment, and readiness to confront deeper patterns.
Cesar Marin: Microdosing, Midlife, and Reinvention
Q: Was there any early skepticism or doubts that you really had to tackle?
Cesar confirms he had no skepticism towards psychedelics after his first experience, although he acknowledges skepticism from his children and parents.
Cesar Marin: Microdosing, Midlife, and Reinvention
Q: What brought you into this work, especially kind of in your mid fifties?
Cesar explains that psychedelics, which he didn't encounter until age 55, shifted his perspective on life and gave him a sense of purpose.
Betty Aldworth: MAPS, MDMA, and the Battle Over Psychedelic Medicine
Q: What would your message be to those feeling crushed by this FDA decision?
It's tough to wait, but please hold on and continue to seek other effective treatments while being cautious.
David Bronner on Corporate Psychedelics, Mysticism, and the All-One Future
Q: What does the world look like in the next decade if everything is achieved?
Hopefully, it will head toward more compassion and empathy, learning from past mistakes, unlike the current political climate.
