  • Great podcast

Been listening to it since it started on and off.

Some topics better than others but generally really enjoyable Disney podcast.

Only criticism is the hosts often seem very reluctant to say anything negative about Disney.

But overall a great podcast šŸ‘

  • Best Disney Podcast

I’ve listened to a lot of different Disney podcasts and none of them match the vibe from DDP Today. The show maintains a good balance of advice for people going on a Disney trip and talking about what keeps them going back. The show is consistent with the release schedule. The show is positive, but realistic. There are no intrusive ads and it is a family friendly show. They have a solid community around the show, with a running team that does an annual charity drive.

I would recommend this sho... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Episode 489: Split Stays - Poly Tower
Q: Would you choose Island Tower again for Marathon Weekend, or would you prefer a different view or location?
It's beautiful and a strong resort option, but for Marathon Weekend I'd avoid a theme park view to minimize early-morning disruption from fireworks and pageantry; a garden or golf-view would be preferable to balance comfort and cost.
Episode 489: Split Stays - Poly Tower
Q: How did the monorail access from Island Tower affect your park-day logistics during Marathon Weekend?
It was not as direct; you often ended up walking to Grand Floridian to catch the monorail, or relying on Run Disney buses, which added planning time and potential delays during busy mornings.
Episode 475: DDP Sorcerers RoundTable
Q: Is there something you'd like to do differently for your next Run Disney race?
I would focus on wearing a fun costume to enhance the overall experience at Disney, as I felt left out without a themed outfit.
Episode 475: DDP Sorcerers RoundTable
Q: Did you have any point that you felt like you were, like, quote unquote, running scared?
Yes, I had a moment of panic when I thought I was close to the halfway point, but I actually wasn't. This made me anxious and I adjusted my pace to avoid getting swept by the Balloon Ladies.
Episode 459: DDP Sorcerers RunAround Table
Q: What is one thing that you're looking most forward to for this half marathon race day?
I'm excited for the castle photo, but I'm also nervous for the castle photo because I am a crier.
