  • This program contributes to disinformation

Episode 32, featuring Jacki Alexander, Chief Executive Officer of HonestReporting, was an abomination. This was a total PR job with the head of an organization that is as DIShonest as they come. As any self-respecting veteran journalist will tell you, the true mission of DIShonestReporting is to sic its attack dogs on any media outlet that dares feature any Palestinian voice. This has caused a major media chill for many years, one that has finally broken, now that we are witnessing Israel commit... more

Episode 61: The Cost Of Telling The Real Story About Russia
Q: Can you walk us through the sequence of events from your arrest to your release and how you viewed the charges against you?

EPISODE 60: The Informational Front Of The Iran War
Q: Has there been a shift in identification or sentiment among Iranians as a result of the conflict, given the information controls?
The underlying discontent persists, but attribution of change is unclear due to the regime's censorship; open expression and mobilization may not have translates into visible mass movements as expected.
EPISODE 60: The Informational Front Of The Iran War
Q: What did you see in advance of the war regarding information and the regime's response to protests?
There was a significant narrowing of the aperture, with the regime tightly controlling access to information and cutting off both domestic and international channels in ways that distorted the public's view of events.
EPISODE 57: In the Russia-Ukraine war, language is a weapon
Q: How does TVP World approach countering disinformation beyond Poland?
TVP World focuses on English-language reporting to present a Central European view, maintains daily Ukraine-focused coverage, and runs counter-disinformation programs like Break the Fake, coupled with media literacy efforts to empower audiences worldwide.

Q: What are you seeing in the informational lay of the land?
Arthur describes divergent national contexts, a large Ukrainian refugee presence in Poland, and the Kremlin's aims to drive wedges between Poles and Ukrainians, while emphasizing cultural and historical narratives to shift Western and Eastern European perceptions.
