One of my favorite podcasts that I look forward to every two weeks. The rotating panel of hosts keep things fresh and it’s so refreshing to find a music podcast that’s centered on good vibes rather than snarky criticism.
I have about 85-100 podcasts I listen to, and only Discord and Rhyme has never had a single less than stellar episode.
They are the 6 out of 5 star review.
Join Toastmasters!… Do you listen to your podcasts? The dysfluencies are very distracting… Especially 857 uses of the word "like"… And that's in just one sentence! Please, like, work on it, like, OK?
This podcast is just the best for staying awake at the wheel. It’s become my go-to driving companion when I have to do a distance here in Oz - usually Sydney to Newcastle. Good to hear the recent Midnight Oil episode, but now you have threatened a Go-Betweens ep you must follow though! Can I suggest The T... more
A deep dive into a wide range of music, the team Discord and Rhyme take plenty of care into researching the artist and the album they are reviewing. Altjough their Moody Blues obsession isn't reflected in my taste, it acts as a touchstone to all the reviews, sometimes crow-barred.
It's all done with a good sense of humour and no one taking themselves too seriously.
