By the late 60s, Harry Nilsson’s songs had a way of showing up everywhere, from TV and movies to other people’s hit records. However, it was 1971’s Nilsson Schmilsson that finally scored him a bona fide hit album, spawning three hit singles and a Gra... more

I love this podcast! I’ve listened to many episodes and always find the conversations illuminating and insightful. They do an amazing job researching the albums they cover and drawing parallels to other music. Great production as well. And they all seem like cool likable down to earth music nerds (as I fancy myself being). They’re like a great band; different personalities that complement each other so the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Anyway, I’m a big fan. Long may they pod!
Warm, entertaining, informative, and, most importantly, a gateway to find new music and rediscover old treasure
Taught me how to disagree with my friends about music in a nice way. Got me into prog, for which I am 5 star grateful. Well done guys! The answer is not the moody blues though. The answer is Yes! And Zappa.
One of my favorite podcasts that I look forward to every two weeks. The rotating panel of hosts keep things fresh and it’s so refreshing to find a music podcast that’s centered on good vibes rather than snarky criticism.
I have about 85-100 podcasts I listen to, and only Discord and Rhyme has never had a single less than stellar episode.
