Amanda Smith believes that not every disaster movie is a disaster. Whether it’s an A-List actor trying to outrun a lava flow, or a C-List actor punching a mutant shark in the face, Amanda will find something to love - or to laugh about. Join her every Wednesday as she breaks down the highs and lows of a beloved (or under appreciated) entry in the disaster movie canon.

Fantastic podcast, but it drops down to a four-star because they talk politics. Please let us just enjoy the movie and podcast for entertainment seek.
If Amanda watching a movie about aliens doesn’t deserve 5 stars than I don’t know what does!
Disaster movies genre is interesting. I just love listening to the conversation and the deep dive into what the movie is really about. The fan casting is best part.
Honestly one the most refreshing and fun podcasts out there. Jordan and Amanda are always insightful and entertaining and no matter the film or show discussed it gets the same level of enthusiasm, something other podcasts lack. Come for the soul crushing Korean disaster film, stay for the Muja Hive and post review rambles.
When I found this podcast I went back and found a movie that I love and have seen a lot. Within the first couple minutes listening to it I was like “I found my people”. Been watching disaster movies and coming back to listen ever since. The fan casting segments are my favorite!! I have gone back and listened to some of my favorites multiple times!! Highly recommend this one!!
