The last episode of this series has its emotional moments, as we look back at the whole of our Digging Deep journey up to this point, but we also end on a joyous musical note; a rockabilly classic covered by Robert Plant and Patti Griffin which inclu... more
On this episode Robert Plant and Matt Everitt dig deep into a track whose roots can be found on RP’s seventh solo album, 2002’s Dreamland. But we’re not dealing with the original, instead we're unearthing the rare remix of 'Last Time I Saw Her’. Enjo... more
This is a collaboration between Robert and Jimmy Page which resulted in a classic song that made its home on the 1997 Walking into Clarksdale album. But it then re-appeared a decade later on Raising Sand – and it would go on to win The Record of the ... more
For the first time ever, Digging Deep features not one, but two musicians in conversation. We’ve wanted to do this since the series started back in May 2019, and the song both are discussing is Quattro, the opener from Robert and Alison Krauss’ recen... more

Robert Plant is a music legend with some great stories to tell. This podcast is a fascinating look behind the scenes of some of his best songs.
I came upon this podcast accidentally, and am grateful that I have. I have always appreciated Robert’s ability to convey so much emotion through his voice and music, regardless of the genre or decade! It has been evident for so long that this man has a true gift, and he takes great pleasure in using it. And thankfully for us, he takes pleasure in sharing it!
There is so much more of Robert’s catalog to dig deeply into- please open up the vault and share another few seasons with us! (You are miss... more
The great thing about this Podcast is you didn’t have to be a Led Zeppelin fan to love it. I liked Zeppelin okay. My brother, an incredible drummer, loved Zeppelin, so I heard them night & day regardless. But I also heard Rick Wakeman, Johnny & Edgar, Frampton, Cream, Faces, Alice Cooper, Deep Purple, Mountain & some of the best music out there, including Led Zeppelin, whom though, not their biggest fan, I knew enough about music to appreciate what they were doing. This podcast has brought me to... more
I don’t listen to many podcasts but as a huge Robert Plant fan , I figured I’d give it a try. It was so enjoyable and informative. I wish all my favorite artists did something like this.
My only complaint…. It’s over 😢 Come back Robert! Please! You’ve barely scratched the surface of your catalogue. Thanks for a great show!
Miss listening to this. I listened to the whole series in a few weeks when I found it.
