Destiny is a fresh breath of clarity and good sense of strategy for both progressives and centrists. He’s right. Progressives need to stop playing defensive, it’s time to put republicans on the defensive. The only way to do that is to force them to respond to the same standards they try to impose on others, and until they do, beat them at their game.
Wow. I love how he benignly advocated Christian “sharia” but fails to address the propensity of Christianity to spiral into “We are the arbiters of True Faith, and all others are heresy”. He also found it very difficult to explain away why the Founding Fathers went to great pains to keep Christianity out of secular law.
I’m always amazed how, when confronted with dwindling attendance, Christians fail to ask themselves if it’s something they’re doing and not something wrong with everyone else.
