Used to listen to in bed. It’s impossible with the extreme difference in volume of ads compared to the podcast. Look at the reviews to see how long this has been an issue with no fix. Can’t do it anymore.
This used to be a good podcast. Dealt a lot with Destiny. But now they ignore it and talk about other games. The title of this podcast is now completely misleading, actually more like false advertising. If you love Destiny, find another podcast. This one is now dead.
A Destiny podcast that barely talks about the game they named the podcast after. Most of the original people that started this no longer play Destiny.(at the time of writing this the game is not in a good place.) They should probably change the name of the podcast at this point. Also you listen to two minutes of the content before being inundated with the adds. I know they need to make money through advertising but it’s just gratuitous.
The Ads are still twice as loud as your voices. It’s a jump scare everytime one comes on and it’s making the listening experience much less enjoyable. I’ve accepted that they will show up every 5-10 mins(which is too often) but your voices are sooo quiet and the Ads a so loud!
I still enjoy the banter and fun updates on Destiny and gaming as a whole.
Banter is fun, but most people on the show barely play Destiny anymore and the first hour of the latest podcast had 6+ ad breaks, one every five to fifteen minutes. And it was the same inserted gambling ad.

A lively, discussion-driven show focused on Destiny and broader gaming culture, with regular dives into live-service games, Bungie news, and industry strategy. Episodes blend hands-on impressions of new game updates, patch notes, and long-form debates about PvE vs PvP, monetization, and platform timing, often interspersed with personal anecdotes and banter. Notable strengths include a relaxed, bantering vibe among long-time friends, willingness to speculate on future projects, and a willingness to tackle industry trends beyond Destiny, which can appeal to listeners who enjoy candid, theory-driven conversations about live-service ecosystems and game development. A recurring edge is strong, opinionated dialogue from a core group with deep kno... more
