I’ve been listening to the Desert Island Discs archives as I do my daily walk during lockdown and I find them really fascinating. It’s even more interesting to listen with the benefit of hindsight. Thank goodness there are a lot of episodes left! My favourite interviewer is still Kirsty! Perceptive questions but delivered in a warm and friendly style.
I love this podcast because I am a fan of the 80’s and 90’s
Such a pleasure, full of unexpected detail and interesting lives well lived! more
Very fine to hear these interviews& songs! Wow!
I only wish this was still going...but even at 25 years, this is still super. It would be interesting, a quarter of a century on, to see if or how the selections of, say, Tony Bennett or Stephen Fry might have changed.
I am having just the most wonderful time going back to bygone years with this wonderful archive….. It is such a pleasure to be able to hear this in Australia on the iPod……. at 3am if you wish ….. Thank you BBC… and iTunes as well . Fayex
Always learn more about the guests after half hour of DID than in any other interview, very interesting
Always interesting
