Podchaser4a year agoMarqueeSeason 1 was pretty good, but season 2 was tough and I didn't make it past episode 2 of season 3. It becomes really violent and gory -- just a bunch of implausibly related, horrifying stories and sound effects. Season 2 escalated way too quickly and season 3 had nowhere to go. The narration was great, but Lee Pace and Keith David are always awesome, so that doesn't really reflect the podcast.

You need to be extremely patient on this one. The plot takes a really long time for you to get hooked and will not make sense at all until you are a good 50-60% into the the show to start connecting the dots. If you do have the patience for it, then the reveal of how everything falls into place is a satisfactory moment. This show is strictly for mature audiences and if you have a poor appetite for listening/visualizing gore then this is not for you.
