I just came across this podcast and binged it in one sitting. As a former Police Detective I share the frustration of the slow-moving legal process and lack of integrity amongst senior bureaucrats. I feel that investigative journalism (at least in Australia) has declined over time, so am drawn to podcasts like this. Daphne was no doubt bright, driven, well connected with sources and has left an amazing legacy, albeit triggered by her assassination.
The Panama Papers sounds so similar to what we are seeing unfold in our own country this week (June 2025) with the 47:45 Gold Phone (NOT made in our own country) its Family Organization and all of its activities happening right in front of our own eyes in total disregard for our laws. It’s sad that only Episode 1 is accessible. It would be a good listen for as many people as possible…..
Another annoying Wondery podcast that leeches the top of your podcast feed, above more recent shows. Unsubscribed.
The script for the narration is absolutely horrendous, ruins the entire story
Removing all but the first episode to force people to pay for Wondery ? That is pretty disgusting. Guess I will stop following any Wondery shows.
