This is intelligent and witty!
Teaches a lot more than just what’s in the All Souls trilogy.
I only discovered ADOW through the tv show in Jan 2022 & I now am OBSESSED with it. I really appreciate that I can go back to all of the old Daemons Discuss podcasts & share this new passion with you, as Friends From Afar. You are all so funny and insightful in your discussions, its an absolute pleasure to listen to you all bounce off each other. I was surprised that your humour really worked for me as I am from the UK, but you have me giggling a lot! I’m now going to read the books, and I reall... more
So, I was introduced to the world of All Souls through the TV series. Watched the first two season, read the trilogy of the summer, cried when I finished the last episode of season 3. I just wasn’t ready for it to be the end, and that’s how I discovered Daemons Discuss! I’ve be rewatching the series and then listening to the corresponding podcast after each episode. So, thank you to the host for keeping the world of All Souls alive for all of us! ♥️
This podcast used to be my favourite but not anymore. It’s become overall “woke” and far more interested in following internet trends and as for the analysis, they have the emotional range of a teaspoon who prefer to laugh at emotionally difficult topics than actually analyse them. For actual analysis and discussion I recommend Chamomile and Clove.
So DaemonsDiscuss rated their own podcast, and then "peasinapod3", "sfgirl", and "sendmeanalpha" are clearly Angela, Valarie, and Jean themselves. It's a bit sad when you have to make four 5-star reviews just to get your figures up.
The facts are these: the podcast is bad, but the women are worse.
Imagine being so delusional that you think you should be able to profit off of someone else's work, and then that that person should be endlessly grateful to you and even pay you for it.
Fandom is done out of love, not out of desperation for money and fame. Shame on these ladies.
I saw your posts on Instagram & I knew I had to listen to your podcast after my 2nd read through of the All Souls book. I haven't been able to stop thinking about the books since the first time I read them, but didn't have anyone to discuss them with. That's why I'm loving your show. Your in depth analysis of the characters is great and I often agree with your opinions (#baldwinbus) and enjoy the background info you provide. I'm currently listening to your TBOL read-through while crocheting in t... more
I stumbled upon this at the beginning of the summer 2021 and I have been binging it ever since. I absolutely love it. You make my morning walk so enjoyable and brighten up my day. Keep up the great work.

If you listen to their latest episode, they've made it clear they're quitting because the podcast didn't make them any money. That's not why I join fandoms and it's sad that these ladies only saw profit as their end goal. I wish them luck with whatever fandom they try to bilk out of hard-earned money next.
Patreon subscribers should get a refund from these grifters.
Love the pod, the hosts are just so kind and funny and it's great to listen to them discuss the books and the tv show. They are very knowledgeable about the All Souls world and are true fans, but don't shy away from the problematic parts of the books/shows. At first I thought it might be tricky to tell who is who, but they have very distinct voices, both literally and personality wise. The different perspectives they have really bring out details that I missed, or didn't understand how they mig... more
The Lady Daemons strike once again! They have a remarkable way of conveying a synopsis of the chapter in an informative yet hilarious way. Descriptive, intelligent, yet entertaining! Want more All Souls information? Check out the show notes included with each episode.

If you're looking for a bookish podcast that's fun, informative and easy-going, this is the one for you! These daemon ladies are so smart and so hilarious, I sometimes re-listen to episodes just to boost my mood. You can tell that they do their research and they do a wonderful job at picking these books apart. Also, I love the sound effects so much. They had me at the first ditch dive.
