This podcast has been a welcome intro and investigation into what has been missing in the preparation for fatherhood. My wife and I have had a journey getting here and I am loving the insight offered in this podcast. Keep it up y’all!
I have been binging since January on my commute and at the gym and am in March 2021! It has been a great show so far and I love the diversity of the guests. I also love the humor and self awareness that Jesse and Brandon bring to the topic. Thank you guys for sharing your experiences.
I’m trying to catch up to the new episodes since I started from the beginning, but I’m enjoying every second of it. Thanks for all the awesome info so far and for inspiring more confidence in my dadding ability.
Jesse and Brandon are first-time dads, and they are here to share their parenting journey with you. I love the sense of camaraderie that I felt as I listened. As a mother of two sons, I related to a lot of the content. It's a genuine and wholesome show that I recommend to parents everywhere.

And really enjoy these guys
Great podcast for new parents!
First I love this podcast. I love listening to the stories and experiences, and I’m glad that they are bringing in some research and talking about it in the episodes. The only reason why I didn’t do a 5 star is because there are times that they give into the dumb stereotype for dads. For example the most recent was they said basically we aren’t as on top of things because we are dads. Not cool, dads can be on top of things and as involved, which most of the time is expressed. And then the other ... more
I started listening to get tips on sleep training and I was laughing so hard I downloaded all their episodes. They are so funny and relatable. Thanks for the tips and laughs guys!
I enjoy the real talk being that I am a new Father, keep it up guys !
These two do a great job of entertaining and informing from a new dad's perspective. It's fun to hear how much they love their kids and are "into" being a dad.
This is one of my favorite new podcasts. Dadsplaining gives such a fun spin on the typical parenting podcast, and offers the perspective from the dads point of view. They talk about everything from pregnancy to parenting and is not just a great podcast for all you moms out there, but it’s a parenting podcast that I can actually get my husband to listen to! I enjoy the laid-back vibe of the podcast, while also learning so much about this crazy thing called parenting.
There are a lot of parenthood podcasts out there, but few hit the mark like Jesse and Brandon do with Dadsplaining. An honest, real, funny, self-deprecating, helpful, and reflective sharing of the fatherhood experience. I don't really have a close circle of friends/fathers here at home to share, chat, and laugh about my daily experiences as a new Dad, but tuning into the new episode each week helps me feel a little bit more connected to others going through a similar experience, and often provide... more
Jesse & Brandon are a hoot. Dadsplaining is funny & relatable—-a thoroughly enjoyable listen!
Funny, witty and smart. But enough about me. These new dads talk about their journey the good, the bad and the ugly every step of the way. They aren’t afraid to ask for advice either! They really are funny, witty and smart so even if your kids are older, you’ll still enjoy it!
