My go to podcast for television. Absolutely love the hosts. It is like talking to my friends about telly.
I love listening to this but was a bit shocked how sexist the older original episodes were!! Really old fashioned views but I suppose the podcast has been going a while. Sometimes I feel that element is still there and the humour is a bit childish. I wish the spoilers weren’t quite as detailed also as they do tend to recap the entire plot from start to finish which seems unnecessary. But I still enjoy it immensely.
Why is Luke always quiet and Matt and the guest much louder? Sort the audio levels out, please.
I do enjoy this podcast as someone who is always looking for tv recommendations! The variety of shows reviewed is good, with something for everyone. My only issue is that the volume is quite inconsistent throughout.
I work in TV, so I thought I’d give this podcast a listen. It really is poor critical analysis of TV programmes, with little to no insight. It’s so muddled with no understanding of the wider TV landscape, and even basic cultural and film references are lacking. There’s nothing worse than listening to a bunch of geeks who think they are funny and attempt to opine on subjects, when they patently don’t have the wit.
