Short, punchy (in a fair way), and on important and timely topics. Always a treat to listen to.
I am increasingly fond of this podcast. The latest episode where Nathan offers his perspective on “Abundance” is fantastically detailed, earnest, and legible for a mere peon like me. I think it is clear that we need ideological media in the middle of the 21st century. We need to know the convictions and commitments of the people we let into our ears. I trust Current Affairs! You can too.
Incredible analysis, though sometimes conversations get a bit cheeky
Glenn Greenwald isn’t a conservatist. He’s more liberal, in its traditional sense, than most libs these days. And Nathan should’ve well known this, given the episodes on liberalism and leftism.
This might seem to be a semantic issue. But politics and political theories are core to this show. I’ve noticed that Nathan, with all his left-leaning ideas, still falls for the mainstream (false) muddling of these terms.
Please re-educate yourself the basics so as not to mislead your listeners.
A good example of why we don’t like journalists
