  • Hit and Miss

The points raised are often spot on and insightful, but the host has a “1930’s baseball announcer” affectation which will drive you absolutely nuts.

  • Ben and Jerry

Haha he sounds extremely ignorant. He sold it thinking the corporations would respect the values, but he also says they don’t know values. He says he was “forced” to sell, I bet he didn’t pull out all of the stops. He didn’t mortgage his livelihood and future (built by the company) to save the company. Big talk, little walk.

  • Well written, poorly delivered

Well written but the guy who does the podcast sounds like he’s doing satire – indeed, a parody of himself. Hard to take this podcast seriously.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Heinous Evil of Cutting USAID
Q: What moral or procedural lessons does this episode offer for civil servants?
Civil servants must remember their oath, document everything, and speak up when directives conflict with law or ethics; if they cannot act in good conscience, they should warn the public and seek accountability, even at personal or professional risk.
The Heinous Evil of Cutting USAID
Q: How did you come to work at USAID, and what did your role entail before the dismantlement?
I was the Director of Policy Programs and Planning for Global Health, focusing on efficient use of taxpayer dollars to improve global health outcomes and keep Americans safe from infectious diseases, with a background in law guiding the funding and audit processes.
Israel OCCUPIES Lebanon During Fake "Ceasefire" (w/ Rania Khalek)
Q: How does U.S. policy influence the conflict, particularly regarding military aid and diplomacy?
The guest argues that American weapons subsidies, diplomacy, and political backing enable ongoing Israeli operations in Lebanon, with funds eventually flowing to American defense contractors, complicating any peace efforts.
Israel OCCUPIES Lebanon During Fake "Ceasefire" (w/ Rania Khalek)
Q: Why is the ceasefire in Lebanon described as ineffective by locals, and how does it differ from the Iranian-American ceasefire?
Khalek explains that the ceasefire imposed by the U.S. and its allies did not include Lebanon as originally promised, leading to continued Israeli strikes, displacement, and destruction of villages, which shows that the ceasefire is not a true pause in hostilities for Lebanon.
Abdul El-Sayed GOES AFTER Trump, AIPAC, and Corporate Dems
Q: What about presidential power and foreign policy—how would you reshape those if elected?
We need to address the holes in governance that allow unilateral action abroad and rapid expansion of executive power, ensuring Congress has the necessary checks while pursuing a restrained, principled foreign policy.
