Awful. The long pauses, the audio, the vaping, the coughing, the inability to speak clearly. Stumbling over your words, the sound effects.
It was impossible to follow along with all of the side bars and distractions.
I agree with other reviewers who mentioned the long vape drags directly into the microphone are distracting and difficult to ignore. The content is interesting, and I would love to make this podcast part of my regular listening rotation. Unfortunately, the constant sound of the host vaping disrupts the experience too much for me to enjoy it.
I saw a very interesting topic that he covered and I wanted to listen in. There was a lot of dead air or like him getting up to refill his drink or turn the ac down and that really should have been cut out. I had to pick up my phone and make sure the podcast was still playing because it was so long i thought maybe my phone turned it off? Then the long drags from the vape straight into the mic kill me. Like I love podcasts and I hate to leave a bad review but it was a little difficult to get thro... more
Wanted to hear the Todd & Amy Mullis case & this was the only one on it, I’m an avid true crime listener and his is the most disappointing pod I have ever listened to. You want to talk true crime? Do it. You want to be funny? That’s cool too (I would suggest Small Town Murder which does this in a way that does not distract and take away from the story or make this about themselves). I couldn’t make it more than 25 minutes in before I gave up.
Good Pod, but long drags from the vape right into the microphone make it almost unbearable.
