I can’t believe I haven’t found this show before! But it’s so exciting to have a fun show to binge again with so much content. Thanks Charnell, Megan, and Jason!
Crime Curious is incredibly well researched and fun to listen to. They’re extremely respectful to victims but balance the seriousness with some levity.
Unlike certain others, I wish there was more banter! Luckily, they have that on Patreon. For those who aren’t fans of banter, most public episodes don’t have a ton. And, little trick here…you can skip ahead! It’s not that hard! There are also plenty of true crime podcasts that have zero banter, so just find one of those instead of being obnoxio... more
It’s like getting together with my best friends and chatting! You guys make work go by so quickly and don’t change a thing!
I just found this podcast and I like it, but I wish they were a bit more cautious with their language. In episode 73, one of the hosts says “For just as many as there are legitimate people suffering from domestic violence there are people out there who exploit that and cry wolf.” This is untrue. The rate of false reports falls between 2-10% and roughly 30% of women and 10% of men have experienced DV. Otherwise, I do appreciate the research and perspective.
