Christopher has a wonderful interview style, which reminds me of a friendly radio host. The guests are also second to none. Creator Talks should be on everyones listening lists :)
Chris makes the most of these interviews. Well researched and pointed questions uncovering a balanced deep dive into process and personalities. Of all the interviews I participated in, Chris’ was the most professional.
Chris is a fantastic interviewer who naturally gets guests to go deep into their creative process. This show makes me get more excited about comics and I didn't think that was possible!
There are a lot of podcasts centering on interviewing comic book professionals. Unfortunately, the majority of the hosts can’t help but make the show about them rather than their guests. Christopher Calloway has a knack for speaking to his guests in a conversational way without turning the spotlight on himself. His questions are thoughtful and fun yielding entertaining answers and insight into the worlds of his guests.
This is a must-listen, top-of-the-playlist show and I suggest you subscribe.... more
There are a number of good podcasts that interview comic book creators but this one tops the list with a little something extra special: more heart and more focus. A must subscribe for listeners who are fascinated with the comic book art form.
There are a lot of comic podcasts out there, but this is one of the best. A thoughtful, insightful, and entertaining discussion with a wide range of comic creators.
I’ve been on Creator Talks twice now, once on my own and once with my Partner Matt Knowles, and talking with Chris is always easy, fun, and evokes intelligent conversation. He asks great questions and does an amazing job of blending informative questions for the creator to talk in-depth about their projects as well as the fun ones at the end. Definitely a must-listen for anyone wanting to know more about comic creators.
Excellent interviews! The information is entertaining and presented in a cull and relaxed way! I always listen when I need to slow things down to enjoy the finer things in life! I also love hangin’ with my peeps on Marsh at the shop!
Love the content and the shop in DE!
Excellent interviews -- insightful guests -- well produced. Subscriber for life!
Christopher is a great host. He knows the questions to ask and he knows how to further the covnersation after each answer
Christopher Calloway is a knowledgeable, generous, and intuitive host. He brings out the best in his guests, providing “behind the curtain” insights into primarily Comics, but he is branching out into other creative forms. Most importantly, he reveals the unique process and perspectives of his guest. He really cares about the creator-not just what they created. Highly recommend.
This show has been a blessing during my horrible commutes each day. Chris does an excellent job of interviewing people from both indie and mainstream comics, giving an interesting behind the scenes look at the creative process. It's always refreshing to hear the end of the show questions as well. Definitely give it a listen if you're a comics fan.
I love your podcast Christopher, and highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in comics; creators and readers alike.
As you know, I was already a regular listener so it was a huge honour to appear on your podcast! I love how you have hugely known creators on one week but then mix up with an indie creator the next week. Your questions are fantastic and you help your guests analyse and reflect upon their own stories and role in the industry.
Thanks again and keep up the great work!

Whether you're a comic book fan or a creator looking to get into the business, this is the podcast for you! Chris manages to get interviews with a wide variety of comic book creators; some very well known, others just starting out or somewhere in between. It's great to hear him pick their brains on what work they do, how they do it, and why they do it. My favorite part is hearing about how the creators got into the business and made a life of their passion. This podcast has introduced me to new ... more
