  • Stop feeding click bait

Thank you! About time to stop recirculating bad takes on CC, wnba fans, etc. let’s just enjoy the game and focus on feeding positive takes.

Way too many need to stop being offended when a clip or quick take SEEMS to be an insult. It’s social media - that’s the point. We all need to touch grass and realize SM is not real life.

Good luck staying away from wnba rants- it can be a hard habit to break!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The MAJOR Differences Between The WNBA And FIBA..
Q: Steven commented on the Valkyries' defense; does the host think offense still matters in a championship run?
The host argues that while defense is critical and the Valkyries are formidable defensively, offense is still essential, and a championship-caliber run typically requires balanced strength; she mentions playoff formats and the need for more offensive power and experience to contend against teams like the Aces, Lynx, or in finals scenarios.
The MAJOR Differences Between The WNBA And FIBA..
Q: Ricky Peterson asked about the WNBA allowing players to switch teams right before the playoffs and DeWanna Bonner's move.
The host notes that this kind of mid-season move is viewed as unusual in other leagues (especially the NBA) but has been permitted and observed in the WNBA with the player able to acclimate and potentially contribute to a new team during the late playoff push; she discusses implications for team chemistry, contracts, and the evolving strategy under the new CBA, and suggests it may reflect a broader trend in the league's flexibility.
The MAJOR Differences Between The WNBA And FIBA..
Q: Mango Pickle asked for a brief overview of rule differences between the WNBA and FIBA.
The host explains that FIBA courts are smaller, the three-point line is closer, different balls are used in Team USA practices, there is no defensive three-second rule in FIBA allowing a bit more zone-type presence, ball-tipping off the rim is allowed more in FIBA (though less common in the women's game), and traveling is called tighter in FIBA, with some variance by the gender and level of physicality; the fouling and flare for ejections are more stringent in FIBA, and the number of personal fouls differs (five in FIBA vs six in the WNBA/NBA).
Hannah Hidalgo On Notre Dame Goals, WNBA Advice From Sonia Citron & Olivia Miles Transfer
Q: How does Coach Ivey keep you guys together after wins and losses?
She sets the core and is always watching film with us, giving feedback on what we need to improve.
Hannah Hidalgo On Notre Dame Goals, WNBA Advice From Sonia Citron & Olivia Miles Transfer
Q: What have you been up to this offseason?
I went to Aruba, had fun with my friend, did snorkeling, rode horses, and did ATV riding.
