Ben is an academic who loves wrestling. Doc is a wrestler. And Evan...just doesn’t get it. After twenty-plus years of friendship, they’re going to try and understand each other, and hopefully make sense of what people love...and hate...about the world's most popular form of simulated combat.

Even as someone who is barely familiar with wrestling, I can say the hosts are engaging and extremely knowledgeable. The conceit of Evan being pulled into this fandom is highly entertaining.
The podcast finds an interesting sweet spot for podcasts. I am like Evan in that I’m wrestling curious but don’t have love or deep appreciation for professional wrestling. It’s interesting to hear pro-wrestling explained by serious people to a sympathetic, critical listener.
Great mix of philosophical discussion and wrestling (which I know nothing about)! Takes a really interesting approach to a pop culture topic. Highly recommended!
