  • Great InsightfulContent, hosts are overly self promotional though.

Really love the interviews and the guests that the CPG guys bring on. It’s amazing what connections they have and how they’re able to get them on the show. They’ve built a solid platform.

My only criticism is that the guys are wayyyy too self promotional (especially ay at the top of the show). They’re allowed to be proud of their work and their families, but it’s too much sometimes.

Keep up the good work and practice some humility 🙂

Closing the CPG Gender Gap with The Female Quotient's Shelley Zalis
Q: How can male executives show up differently in the equality conversation to drive real change?
Men should actively participate in conversations, share caregiving realities, and advocate for systemic changes like inclusive policies and mentor programs, turning allyship into tangible leadership action.
Closing the CPG Gender Gap with The Female Quotient's Shelley Zalis
Q: What metrics should CPG companies track to measure equality outcomes, and how do you hold leadership accountable when the numbers don't move?
Track both representation and opportunity metrics across hiring, promotion, and compensation; tie incentives to progress, ensure the metrics are intrinsic to company strategy, and avoid treating DEI as a side initiative.
Closing the CPG Gender Gap with The Female Quotient's Shelley Zalis
Q: What is the most compelling ROI data you've seen from CPG companies that have closed their internal gender gaps, and what are they doing differently?
Companies that close their gaps see leadership representation reflect their customer base, apply flexible, purpose-driven policies, and measure both financial ROI and social impact, creating a double ROI where diversity drives business growth.
Phygital Commerce Media with Liquid Death's Benoit Vatere
Q: How do you approach AI in creative and media, if at all?
AI isn't central to our creative process today; we use it for media buying optimization and data analysis, but our creative remains human-driven and largely independent of AI in the content itself.
Phygital Commerce Media with Liquid Death's Benoit Vatere
Q: How important is retail media in your marketing mix and how should brands allocate spend?
Retail media is essential for its first-party signals and end-cap opportunities, and a healthy brand should allocate a substantial portion of the budget to retail media, not just relying on top-of-funnel channels.
