  • [Art is a] “Soft entry for tough conversations” - Ellwood @ Many Mobs

One of the amazing moments is that we don’t meet Cook until three rooms in - and that the people who now make Indigenous Australia are navigators without compare - which you do see in “Many Mobs” [Ellwood]. Listened to Tony Albert and Destiny Deacon too - felt and thought their work in another dimension from previous exposure. Indigenous Australian art is *complex*; not so much *complicated* . 250 language groups; 800 dialects!
