  • A great podcast

I heard about this when I was live streaming the Park Avenue Synagogue services. Listening to Rabbi Cosgrove is a great comfort to me in these challenging times and I’m excited that I can now hear him every week (I’m a remote member, living in Michigan).

Do what feels right in your heart, regardless of criticism, because your relationship with God is personal and is up to you.
Faith on the Field: Jewish Athletes in America
Q: What are some of the challenges that you face in terms of balancing your religious observance with playing baseball?
The biggest challenge is games scheduled on Friday nights and Saturdays, which I cannot attend, but my teams have worked with me to adjust schedules accordingly.
Faith on the Field: Jewish Athletes in America
Q: Zevi, tell us a little bit about growing up in Los Angeles and your playing days then, and at what point you knew that you had that special something as a football player.
Growing up in Los Angeles was fun with lots of lifelong friends, and I realized my potential closer to high school.
