An issue I run into with geopolitics is that it’s very clear what the persons bias/politics are within the first 10 minutes of a show.
After being a listener for all of 26, I still can’t pin down his politics/bias (unless told upfront). It’s a breath of fresh air of just pure geopolitical analysis facts and informed opinions.
Jacob, I really like both your shows. But I LOVE J Mintzmyer. I listen to any podcast that has him on, don’t care what podcast it is. He had a guest appearance on the Market Huddle a couple years ago. What a revelation! It got me out of my normal investing lanes which is rare, extremely refreshing and exciting, and it’s paid off in spades.
You have a really good show, I’m a somewhat regular listener, but you get 5 stars purely for this one episode. Well done sir, well done indeed. Love you J! ... more
Thank you for sharing so generously- great guests and best of all- the new professional opening and closing announcer (worth listening just for those)
Sometimes these guys lament the state of the world entirely too much.

He just spoke at the National Agriculture Marketing Association Nexus event. He was so spot on! I am going to dig into all his podcast episodes!

Long-form conversations that blend geopolitics with market implications, featuring expert guests from energy, defense, policy, and economics. Episodes center on real-time world events, strategic forecasting, and the way political risk drives asset prices, with thoughtful, often contrarian takes and deep dives into topics like drone warfare, energy transitions, and regional power dynamics. A standout is the host's willingness to critique forecasting methods and explore second- and third-order effects, making the content valuable for decision-makers who need to connect global events to financial outcomes.
