  • V1, Vr, V2! Let’s go!

Very exciting to see there is an opportunity to consume more of these guy’s content without having to patiently wait for new videos on YouTube. Chill, informative, funny - it’s makes me feel like I am in on a convo with my closest childhood friends that I have stayed close with for decades. Keep it up and can’t wait for the next “long haul heavy” video on YT.

Q: What does CRS selector mode on the MCP do and what is the CRS setting on the iOS?
CRS means course. The MCP in a Boeing 757/767 style cockpit is the mode control panel; the CRS on the center pedestal radio head refers to the localizer front course, with separate VOR/ILS pathways. When flying ILS you enter the localizer frequency and the front course on the dedicated ILS radio head, and you keep the MCP/HSI in map or arc/reversion modes to track the course.
