We want the bigs to stay flat on the baseline when possible, with responsive options to step up or pop depending on the angle of the screen. The goal is to create a three-on-two or three-on-three dynamic by filling behind the ball handler and keeping the top of the floor spacious for ball reversals and paint attacks.

Q: Let's make believe that some of our listeners aren't familiar with spacing terms; what does spacing mean to your system?
Spacing means giving the ball room to breathe, running wide and long, and placing players in exact spots so there's room to attack the paint and read the defense. It's about three baseline players occupying key lines, with two players spaced to maximize driving lanes and read-based decisions.
