I like this show, but I dislike it when they play what I assume is a TV version in the morning. It is especially frustrating when it is obviously visual content. I'm on the verge of taking out of my morning line up.
This is supposed to be a clean, simple news reporting show. Since the addition of the drum beats in the back ground- they are ruining it. I've switched to a "clean" source. (no drum circle over my news)
I prefer Kate B. She is really connect full. I’d give a 5 star for her
Kate’s delivery of the news is unlistenable. Reporting on wildfires and adding “geez Louise!” is so cringy. She’s trying to be cute or something but needs to focus on actually pronouncing things correctly and not stumbling over her words.
I don’t listen to CNN 5 Things, but I do tune in for David Rind’s weekly One Thing for a deeper dive into a single current event. If you haven’t listened to it yet, I encourage you to try one episode. You won’t be disappointed. Great objective journalism still exists and is needed now more than ever. Thank you David 🙏
