  • Excellent essential podcast for the Christian physician

This podcast provides light, hope and sound science to encourage Christian healthcare workers. It is one of a kind and ESSENTIAL for Christian doctors who feel they are in no man’s land currently as they don’t fit in with secular medicine culture and are also existing outside the all too often anti-science stance of evangelical Christians.

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Healthcare at a Moral Crossroads with Dr. Albert Mohler
Q: How can Christian healthcare professionals reconcile scientific rigor with biblical morality in today's complex medical landscape?
By anchoring practice in Christian anthropology (Imago Dei), promoting dialogue among faith, medicine, and ethics, and supporting institutional structures that encourage conscience protections and responsible innovation.
Healthcare at a Moral Crossroads with Dr. Albert Mohler
Q: What do evangelical healthcare professionals need to understand about the moral direction of American culture and its impact on medicine?
A call to ground medical ethics in the character of God and biblical truth, recognizing the destabilization of authority, the centrality of the Imago Dei, and the ongoing need to engage public policy with humility and discernment.
Vaccines: The Science & Rebuilding Public Trust with Dr. Richard Zimmerman
Q: What is the biblical and theological basis for preventative health and how should scripture inform public health policies and vaccination programs?
The Bible provides a foundation for prevention through principles like loving one's neighbor and protecting the vulnerable, while Genesis and the noetic effects of sin shape how we approach truth, reason, and governance of health policies; thus public health should combine humility, respect for expertise, and a process that includes diverse viewpoints and checks to ensure aims of promoting health and protecting others.
Part 2 – IVF, Infertility, and the Christian Conscience with Dr. Ward McClellan
Q: When does life begin? How should Christians treat human life?
Life begins at fertilization in the speaker's view, with a continuum of development; thus, embryos are living beings worthy of protection, and Christians should honor life by thoughtful, conscience-driven choices in IVF, including how embryos are created, stored, and disposed of, and by prioritizing alignment with biblical principles while offering compassionate medical guidance.
Answering Questions from Christian Healthcare Professionals: A Q&A on Ethics and Conscience
Q: How should one approach praying with patients before major surgeries?
Praying should be approached with genuine care for the patient, praying for comfort and peace while allowing for the possibility of complications.
