I’ve never devoured a podcast like this one! I love the content and learning about classical stuff!
I found this show on accident and fell in love with the guys- I joke that I would marry AJ (my husband doesn’t find it as funny as I do). Graeme is so intelligent and funny and Thomas is delightful and has the patiences of saint. Highly recommend. Have listened to all 300.
My last meal: my husband’s salmon. It’s incredible. 10/10

I love this podcast! It is clever, entertaining, smart and very silly at times. Everything I enjoy in a conversation!

A thoughtful, entertaining trio converses about classical literature, philosophy, history, and related ideas with a mix of sharp analysis and playful banter. Episodes balance scene-by-scene breakdowns and big-picture interpretation, often connecting ancient or canonical texts to modern life, education, and culture. Noteworthy are their approachable explanations, willingness to challenge ideas, and a unique blend of rigor and humor that keeps conversations accessible for educators and curious lay listeners alike.
A standout in this space is the recurring dynamic among the three hosts, who bring complementary perspectives—scholarly, practical, and philosophically curious—while maintaining a friendly, conversational tone that invites listener... more
