Faeries. Stay away from them or you'll have your finger pricked all to heck.
In this episode, Graeme discusses the degradation of man as a reflection of the degradation of the state suggested in Plato's Republic, Book VIII. Apparently true freedom is bloodshed.
In this (far too long) episode, we play a quiz show with a cake as a prize. Because really, that's what every war is about: cake.
Thomas continues his series on children's books with the (an?) original Beauty and the Beast tale. It's pretty lovely. Is it bad if I want to be Thomas's kid?

This show is awesome when talking about different classical things and stuff. I wanna know if you can make an episode about what is art? Is modern art getting out of hand? Is Phineas and Ferb art? Pls Answer
It's honestly the first podcast that I can't wait to get to the next episode of, and whose episodes I regularly re-listen to. I've started from the first episode, and now, at 15 or so in, and I'm consistently impressed by the humor, camaraderie, passion for subject, and clarity of thought throughout. Fascinating topics and really enjoy the various viewpoints from the guys. So glad I stumbled upon this podcast. Looking forward to catching up on back episodes and sharing with my philosophy nerd friends.

Love these guys—funny but most of all informative and interesting. Enjoyed the Socratic method episode very much but please don’t compare teaching high school to teaching law students-(Paper Chase)—22 year old law students need preparation that is irregardless of emotions—they don’t need a ‘safe place’
