  • Get rid of Whitney

I was a regular listener and I just can’t stand her ego anymore. She’s insufferable. Marie is the best part of this show and I really want to like it, but Whitney is too unpleasant to continue listening.

  • Endless virtue signaling

Whitney is as spiteful, unempathetic, & uncurious as the people she loves to dunk on, all with a pure ego-driven moral superiority complex layered on top.

  • Great resource for locals

It’s informative and fun! They cover a wide array of topics - keeping me plugged into all aspects of the community. I appreciate their objective, holistic approach to political issues. I like to listen to this pod first before I dive into more “partisan” sources.

  • Good choice of topics…

I just listened to the episode with Robby. I really appreciate this podcast has highlighted an important, yet overlooked, lack in this city when it comes to disability access.

Robby was such a good guest for you to choose. I could relate to him so much. Thank you for asking him thoughtful questions.

If your ideas and guests continue to be this good, consider me a loyal listener.

Can Nashville’s Budget Incorporate Everyone’s Needs?
Q: What is the role of the Barnes Fund in addressing affordable housing?
The Barnes Fund acts as a funding mechanism that leverages grants to attract further capital for affordable housing; the mayor's proposal increases funding to $22 million, the highest from operating accounts, though it's still part of a broader funding mix.
Can Nashville’s Budget Incorporate Everyone’s Needs?
Q: How will the substitute budget change the money landscape for Metro departments?
The substitute reallocates existing funds, aiming to move money to higher-priority items while keeping total dollars stable; the chair emphasizes dialogue and pre-approval so departments can adjust budgets without new money.
'Your City Could Be Better': How Las Vegas Saves More Water Than Any Other City — Presented By City Cast Nashville
Q: So what is a water cop?
Water cops, formally water waste investigators, patrol for water waste and can issue warnings or fines. They also help enforce the rules and encourage responsible use.
Can Nashville Regulate the Proposed Data Centers at the Zoo and Fisk?
Q: What about the large, megacenter projects—do they have any place under the new rules, or could they be barred outright?
Megasites over 500,000 square feet would be banned in Davidson County, while smaller centers would face strict siting rules and must align with environmental safeguards and community oversight.
