  • Great resource for locals

It’s informative and fun! They cover a wide array of topics - keeping me plugged into all aspects of the community. I appreciate their objective, holistic approach to political issues. I like to listen to this pod first before I dive into more “partisan” sources.

  • Good choice of topics…

I just listened to the episode with Robby. I really appreciate this podcast has highlighted an important, yet overlooked, lack in this city when it comes to disability access.

Robby was such a good guest for you to choose. I could relate to him so much. Thank you for asking him thoughtful questions.

If your ideas and guests continue to be this good, consider me a loyal listener.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Rep. Aftyn Behn Talks Campaign Strategy, Republican Attacks, and Hope
Q: What do you think would have happened if there had been one more week magically inserted between the end of early voting and election day?
It would have been beneficial to campaign more in the southern counties, which is where more Democratic voters are located.
Rep. Aftyn Behn Talks Campaign Strategy, Republican Attacks, and Hope
Q: What were the conversations like in those deep red areas?
Many voters expressed a desire for a government that works for them rather than one they have to constantly think about.
Rep. Aftyn Behn Talks Campaign Strategy, Republican Attacks, and Hope
Q: How did your history as an organizer help you in approaching this campaign?
It took a decade to make this seat competitive, supported by grassroots organizing and collaboration among various groups.
Before Nashville Had Honky-Tonks, It Had … Pro Wrestling?
Q: Can you tell me then, like, I love learning the history about all this, but with Pro Wrestling Symphony, are you trying to be reflective of the past or just completely trying to start something new here?
We honor the past of Nashville Wrestling, but we're not beholden to it. We use people like Jeremiah Plunkett, who used to wrestle in the basement of the stadium for Nick Goulas, but we also feature modern talents who have come to learn from the classics.
Before Nashville Had Honky-Tonks, It Had … Pro Wrestling?
Q: For someone who has never attended a professional wrestling show, what would you tell them to expect? What's the vibe? What might surprise them?
It's live theater mixed with athleticism and violence and crowd interactions and music, and we try to elevate all of that by bringing in great wrestlers, great presentations, live bands from here in the city, talent from all over the country.
