8歲學會藺草編織，70歲再度出山，號召社區媽媽復振茄芷袋，親眼見證後壁產業從興盛到沒落、再到重生。
她記得，小時候鹹草長在圳溝邊，家家戶戶編「草袋仔」補貼家用；後壁藺草又粗又硬，能扛重，卻容易斷，得灑米糠、站上石碖反覆輾壓，才會耐用。
後來藺草愈來愈少，她們改用塑膠打包帶，難度更高，全靠手勁，一只袋子就要編一整天。寶鳳阿嬤不只會編，還鑽研配色、夾層、襯裡，讓傳統茄芷袋變身時尚單品，在老街寄賣、遠銷日本。
