  • Top quality content

I’ve been listening to Reformed Forum for the past 7+ years. There is no other program out there that consistently engages in such in-depth theological discussion. Dr. Lane Tipton is one of the best teachers in the world on biblical theology (redemptive-historical hermeneutics). Dr. Camden Bucey is a fine teacher as well, thoroughly conversant with the best authors. Dr. Waddington is also a fine fellow, very knowledgeable and kind. This content is the gold standard for heavy hitting theology fro... more

  • Like you’re back at Old Princeton

The kind folks at Christ the Center are solid reformed and confessional saints. If you are looking for Rich theological dialogue grounded in Scripture and the confessions, then you won’t find a better podcast than this. Consistent, edifying, challenging, yet not pretentious and even fun at time. It’s like you’re back at old Princeton with Vos and the rest of them. This is a rare find, and I beg Camden and the guys to stay true to the mission of simple, lovely, confessional, already / not yet con... more

Planting Ordinary Means of Grace Churches: Trusting Christ to Build His Church
Q: What does it look like to plant an ordinary means of grace church in practical terms?
It starts with a Bible-centered foundation, forming a local core, securing seed funding if possible, and committing to preaching, praying, and administering the sacraments, while building relationships and inviting people home for real fellowship.
The Eternal Son
Q: Is it appropriate to speak of Jesus' resurrection as his adoption?
No, because adoption relates to persons, not natures, and Jesus is the divine Son by nature.
The Eternal Son
Q: Why is it important not to begin Christology merely with Jesus' earthly life?
To understand who Christ has always been is crucial because it connects his divine identity to the salvation he offers.
Understanding the Doctrine of Repentance
Q: What motivated you to write on the doctrine of repentance?
Harrison Perkins shared that his experience leading sermon series on repentance revealed a need for deeper understanding among his congregation regarding the blessings and freedom that come from it.
Reformed Confessionalism
Q: How do they actually promote unity when understood correctly?
Dr. Smith details that creeds and confessions provide a consensus document for believers to unite around, fostering a shared understanding of essential theological truths, unlike systematic theologies which may diverge.
