  • Slowly but surely

Damn near every episode Taylor Swift being brought up is getting exhausting. Chris went from breaking down plays to gossip soon as the co host changed over.

  • Lip Smacking

I really love their show, but Cris has developed this really annoying habit of smacking his lips before he starts speaking and you’ve got a break this this is a podcast man. It’s an audio thing. We gotta stop doing that. It’s really nasty.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Mike McDaniel on Justin Herbert; Odell Beckham Jr. on Jaxson Dart
Q: What makes Justin Herbert stand out to you as a quarterback mentor?
McDaniel highlights Herbert's rare combination of mental processing, vision, and arm talent, noting that Herbert can operate at a level where defenses have to account for multiple options, which allows the offense to expand its playmaking space.
Sophomore Jumps; Falcons lose Jalon Walker
Q: What's the reality of training camp stats versus how the season may unfold?
The guests emphasize that camp stats, particularly 7-on-7 numbers, are not reliable indicators of NFL success and should be weighed against live-game performance and offensive/system context.
Sophomore Jumps; Falcons lose Jalon Walker
Q: How does this Browns quarterback competition compare to prior eras of hype around the Browns' signal-callers?
Mary Kay Cabot explains that the Shedeur Sanders phenomenon is on another level due to social media and the Sanders family's media reach, making it more pervasive than Johnny Manziel's era.
"Prove It" Year QBs; 49ers NOT a Super Bowl team?
Q: What are the seven teams Jadeveon Clowney has played for?
The hosts list Ravens and Texans as part of his early career, then add Dallas, Carolina, Cleveland, Seattle, and Tennessee as the other stops, noting his journeyman trajectory.
Zay Flowers on Cooking for Lamar Jackson
Q: What makes playing with Lamar Jackson such a great fit for you personally?
Flowers says their games complement each other, with Lamar able to extend plays and deliver throws on the run, making it easier for him to find open space and maximize big-play potential.
