Great podcast and great journalist in Hope. But on my, they’re squeezing the pips out of the 40 minutes or so, with several highly annoying 2 minute ads. As usual the ads are on a different volume level and I have to rip the ear pods out before my ear drums perforate. Why not have a 5 minute ads section at the beginning and leave the interviews free from interruptions? 3 stars instead of 5.
Long time reader on your work Chopper.
I do wish you would just mention the the government spends then taxes it back money, not taxes then spends.
The government is the only Authority to create money, otherwise it’s counterfeit.
This narrative of tax before spend allows the government to say we can’t afford it.
Have a look at Warren Moseley work on MMT it’s a podcast.
Even if you just raise it on the podcast it’s a start.
All the best.
Christopher Hope has a great interviewing style - relaxed questioning which always gets the best out of the guests. His interview with Charlie Peters is one of the best podcasts I’ve heard.
