Jordan, a few years back I heard you ask a guest, “how can I grow China Talk?” That day I didn’t think you would last as a podcaster.
Today, the quality of people you are able to come on the show is amazing.
Your ability to drop leading questions and the shut up is remarkable.
Congratulations, I look forward to each of your podcasts. 2nd breakfast is genius.

The range of topic is indeed wild. The last episode “Dissent from Moscow to Beijing” was really good.

The show consistently explores how policy, technology, and geopolitics intersect, with a strong emphasis on US-China relations, AI governance, and national security. Episodes frequently feature policy entrepreneurs, think-tank analysts, and technologists weighing how government incentives, funding models, and regulatory environments shape tech strategy, defense, and cross-border collaboration. Unique strengths include deep dives into policy ecosystems, practical pathways for technologists to influence public outcomes, and a willingness to connect historical context to contemporary tech and security debates.
