Attached! Finally, after 7 season of "will they, won't they," Picard and Beverly finally reveal their feelings to each other. Well, at least Picard does, Beverly kinda just goes to bed afterwards. What do they actually want for each other? How did Pi... more
Rules of Acquisition! Our first look at a Ferengi FE-MALE?! And a close look into Ferengi culture as well?! It's almost like they cared about their worldbuilding or something! Also, there are seven Rules of Acquisition in this episode. Just thought y... more
Dark Page! The episode that inexplicably was not named "Dark Place" despite multiple characters saying "Dark Place" and not "Dark Page." Though I can understand why Star Trek was afraid to compete with Garth Marenghu. In any case, this is the episode... more

Love the humor, love the insight, love Ricardo mIs-pronouncing everyone’s name. Keep it up.
The idea of seeing the show through someone’s eyes for the first time is a good one and interesting points are brought up in each episode. The thing that is most off putting to me, however, is the frequency of swearing. I don’t mind swearing every now and then to add emphasis or make a joke, but when it is every other sentence it comes off as lazy and tiresome.
I’ve loved Star Trek since I was a kid and I currently cycle through
TNG, Voyager, and DS9 as my comfort shows, DISCOVERYing (get it?!) this pod has been amazing. Love the banter and all the takes, I’ve now found my comfort pod for my commutes and road trips!
Just wanted to say I liked the show and love the time you all chat before you jump into the episode.
You can tell you are friends and when I listen I feel like I’m hanging out with you all and that authenticity is what I’m looking for. You got a fan for as long as you continue with this show thank you...
I've been doing a rewatch of all of Star Trek, including TOS and TNG, and this has been a great way to keep up with it and think more deeply about the episodes (even if 'thinking deeply' means considering how much better any individual episode would have been if time travel were involved). Great content!
