This was such a disappointment. I was so excited to listen to Sharon Eubank, and yet every time she got more than two sentences out Casey would plow over her with his own opinions and stories. It was such a huge let down, because she has SO MUCH wisdom! The only reason I kept listening was because I hoped he’d eventually shut up and we’d get to hear her speak, but he was borderline man-splaning her own life and experiences back to her. So, so disappointing.
This is my first time listening. I tuned in for a particular guest. I can’t finish the episode because Casey constantly interrupts and interjects his own stories. The “ya, ya” is super annoying.
Is there a way to skip over the host constantly saying “yo” or “yea”. It makes my ears bleed
I love that Casey has such incredible guests and how he will go deeper and ask follow up questions. I do agree with the review that says he sometimes could slow down, let the person add to what they are saying, and doesn’t always need to add his own story to validate what the guest shared. Just a pause and a thank you or a follow up, not always needing to relate it back to himself or someone he knows.
