I have just finished listening to to your ranking podcast and I would say your ranking is spot on bar one and that is behind, however I have watched behind for years and I have not even noticed that that most of the greats are missing, so you know what I agree with your placing of it, I started watching carry on films when I was 5 in 1974 with my dad who was a huge fan, most of them give me a warm cozy feeling and memories, great podcast
I’ve been searching for a podcast about the carry on films and this is great. Just the right amount of detail about the film and chat about the time period too. Superb!
The most incredible podcast to all “carry on” fans !
You learn so much about the actors in and outside of the films.
A must listen to for all fans of carry on.
Mike Muncer is one of the most sycophantic podcast hosts I’ve ever heard.
Each episode Susan calls very minor things ‘horrific’.
Totally unlistenable.

A nostalgic, culture-forward show that takes a chronological tour through a long-running film series, pairing witty banter with deep dives into production, casting, and social context. Episodes often combine thoughtful retrospectives of individual entries with rankings, audience polls, and discussions of how British society and cinema evolved from the 1950s onward. A standout here is the hosts' balance of affectionate fandom and critical context, offering both fan-facing anecdotes and broader cultural analysis, which helps listeners decide which entries are worth revisiting or discovering anew. The format tends to mix film-by-film breakdown, star spotlights, and era-based commentary, making it especially appealing to traditional film fans, ... more
