- Cabby revelation
I watched Cabby a few weeks ago in preparation for this ep and found it the worst of the series to date. To me it felt empty and lacking any decent jokes or set-pieces. I also hated the final act runaround which felt tagged on. However….this episode succeeded in making me reevaluate it. That’s why this podcast is great….it allows us to see the films through a different lens. Can’t wait for the ep on ….Up The Jungle which I also rewatched and found it wanting. This show really takes me back to growing up with the Carry On movies in England. Excellent reviews and very engaging hosts. But, sometimes I wish I didn’t know as much about the negative aspects of the actors. 😂 Regardless, Carry On!

I am a fan of both Mike and Susan and together they are brilliant (if you haven’t already listened to it I can highly recommend their discussion on the Jaws sequels on the main EoH pod, it is truly laugh out loud funny)
Mike and Susan speak eloquently about the Carry On films with a genuine care for the subject matter, while not ignoring the more challenging aspects of the films.
This has become a weekly treat that I share with my wife and we can’t wait for each new episode.
