Great conversation between friends and a fun, thoughtful look at the show. I am enjoying listening along as I revisit Caroline.
Why is there a Caroline in the City rewatch podcast? I say, why not?! I didn’t know how much I would need a podcast about this sitcom but 2020 broke me. Listening to the recaps of this series is not only so fun, but also oddly soothing. Must See TV is what I needed! The hosts deliver snarky but sincere commentary.
Sometimes you just need to revisit a time when shirts were baggy enough to sail a yacht and Cats was running on (an actually open) Broadway. I loved this show in the 90s and Christie and Amy have great banter. Definitely a perk at the end of each week for me in these uncertain times!
During quarantine, I have gotten the most comfort and joy out of rewatching favorite TV shows and listening to TV recap podcasts. This is the recap podcast I never knew I needed, and it’s all I’ve ever wanted. The hosts are knowledgeable about the TV and theater industries and review each episode with a good balance of knowledge and humor. They get great guests too! This podcast makes me feel so nostalgic for the Must See TV era.
Really this podcast when I need to take a break from the seriousness of life.
Such a wonderful thing to listen to in these strange times. Enjoyed Caroline when it was on tv and happy to relive it again! Thank you!!
I enjoy this show so much! It is both diverting AND hilarious and somehow also very soothing.
If you miss the 1990s right now—I know I do—re-living a quintessentially 90s TV show is like giving your heart a time travel hug. A cringey hug sometimes, which adds to the hilarity. The hosts are not precious about the show; they clearly adore it but they also break it apart as needed. I’m so delighted to add this to my podcast lineup and because I only vaguely remember the show, I have no idea what’s going to happen and I’m legit excited to watch every ep and hear Amy and Christy’s take on eve... more
This podcast is everything I didn’t know I needed in a podcast. I’m so glad I rewatched the first episode of Caroline and then had all of my thoughts and feels so perfectly broken down by Amy and Christie. I’ll definitely be following Caroline and the Podcast.
I listened while power-walking around a mall, which felt appropriate
Christie and Amy are great, and I really enjoy this new podcast!
I know exactly zero about Caroline in the City, so I can't wait to learn from these hilarious hosts!
I needed a fun new podcast and can’t wait for all the episodes. The preview is great so far!
I had no idea I needed this, but I ABSOLUTELY DO!
and I love it!
