I've been listening since Day 1 and love how Les doesn't look at filmmaking as per the equipment being used, rather he focuses on the ways we can master the equipment we have on hand. His guests are diverse and insightful. His shownotes are very detailed and really support your growth in knowledge that you can then put into action.
This pod cast, hosted by Les Gaddis, is an inspiring pod cast directed toward filmmakers on various levels. His content is molded for Cinematographers in the business, covering lighting, lens and working DPs in the industry (guest). Listen, learn, laugh, love, and enjoy. I stand by that.
All the content is helpful and informative, in a laid back way that is almost relaxing to listen to. Keep it up!
I found the Creating Light podcast a few days ago and I’ve already listened to 8 podcasts so far. Les Gaddis is knowledgable and entertaining. I have been surprised by how many times he has explained something that I thought I already knew and a light bulb went off and I understood it on a deeper level. His companion website with links to vimeo videos is helpful as well. I have subscribed and look forward to future episodes.
Thanks Les,
A new listener to your show, I’ve only listened to a couple of episodes so far, but already liking the little snippets of of content into your world and the world of cinematography. :)
