  • Interesting insights

I don’t agree with everything or all the guests, and some of it is a little graphic for my tastes, but some of the episodes really spoke to me and found very interesting and useful. He’s got a great point - we fancied people growing up who weren’t genetically programmed to like us back and rather than dwell on downsides time to build a great life.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ep.89: Queerness, Brotherhood, and the Power of Male Connection with Alessandro Rōz
Q: What practical exercises can listeners start with to connect with their erotic aliveness in a mindful way?
The guests walk through a sensory-awareness practice: begin with breathing, release tension, and then systematically engage touch, hearing, smell, taste, and sight to cultivate present-moked arousal that emphasizes awareness over goal-oriented sexual acts.
Ep.89: Queerness, Brotherhood, and the Power of Male Connection with Alessandro Rōz
Q: Can you share how your background led you to doing men's work and how that informs your approach to queer brothers?
Alessandro describes moving from acting and industry pressures to Sacred Sons, eventually recognizing the lack of space for queer men to feel and connect; he built a path through masculine work that centers love, vulnerability, and inclusive leadership, which now informs his Brotherhood of Lovers work with queer men.
Ep.84: Opening Up Your Marriage: The Truth About Consensual Non-Monogamy (CNM) with Wayne Scott
Q: How should couples approach starting conversations about CNM and what communication skills help?
Approach it with curiosity, reframe jealousy as something to discuss rather than a fixed flaw, and use conversations to understand underlying needs and to co-create safety strategies.
Ep.84: Opening Up Your Marriage: The Truth About Consensual Non-Monogamy (CNM) with Wayne Scott
Q: What are the reasons couples would consider opening up their relationship?
People open up for deeper needs beyond sexual novelty, such as freeing themselves from religious or cultural constraints, accommodating changing bodies and desires, and pursuing autonomy and healing through non-monogamy.
Ep.79: Mostly Straight Men, Masculinity, and the Future of Sexual Fluidity with Dr. Ritch Savin-Williams
Q: How do you see sexual fluidity evolving in the next decade?
