  • Distracting and not detailed enough

Episode 22 with Dr. Lisa Monteggia could have been a very enjoyable listen. Unfortunately there were a lot of distractions during the recording including dogs barking, sounds of people doing dishes, and incessant and repeated dinging of cell phones and computers. This kind of stuff should not be happening on a professional podcast. Put your guests in a room with a speaker and turn the devices to “do not disturb”. • Content Great!…

The content is great, but the constant “hmmm, mmmm, ok, uhmmm, yeah, mmmm, uhmmm, right, hmmmm, right, uhmmmm…” makes it really difficult to listen to. Podcast hosts should listen without making noise. It’s not a phone call or face to face when you need to let the person know you are listening and when no one else is listening. It’s a podcast. Shhhh…let the person speak.
