I appreciate that Chad and Kevan keep it real, but I wish there was a little bit more EBP discussion. They also discuss mostly from a pro/university level POV, so it’s hard to relate as any other type of AT.
Chad and Kevan keep it real and have candid conversation about the highs and lows of the profession of athletic training. They have LONG careers, mostly in the traditional setting and now into the non traditional setting, to pull from their wide range of experience to chat about. Am I calling them old? Maybe. Do they act their age? No, that’s why we love them! A not-so-serious podcast that makes you laugh, yell in disagreement, and nod with understanding. I highly recommend!
Dear Chad and Kevan,
I just wanted to say thank you so much for restoring my passion in athletic training. I used to listen to the show back before the pandemic. But ever since 2020 I have been so busy I never had time to listen. Then about 2 months ago (Dec 2021) I left a job a absolutely loved. I was a solo high school athletic trainer who was burnt out and exhausted and in truth was ready to leave the profession all together.
Long story short, I began to re-listen to the Candid AT podcast ... more
I don’t leave reviews but this podcast needs to be commended. Perfect mix of wit, humor, and serious topics and always enjoy listening when traveling/commuting! Never disappoints and the community helps get you through the tougher days! I can’t rate or recommend enough for anyone in the field.
A new grad AT here and I’m loving this podcast!!! I love the hot takes, fun and serious discussions and just the truth they speak regarding the profession! I haven’t tuned into the YouTube yet, but when I listen on my drives it keeps me entertained and focused even after rough days! Keep starting the conversations, making jokes, and building this community! I love it!
