As my first audio drama podcast, I had no idea what to expect but the first episode completely had me hooked!
The voice acting and sound design are incredibly immersive, and the way it weaves folklore with pop culture references is brilliant.
I loved getting lost in this world.
Highly recommend!
Camlann doesn’t hold your hand—you have to keep up, and you’re being hunted by AU, post-apocalyptic, historical, mythical figures. If you want everything explained to you, this podcast is not for.
The quality of this whole production is top tier. Exposition never feels clunky thanks to a stellar script, the cast are superb actors, and their cottage and surrounding woods are brought alive by perfect sound design (headphones are highly recommended).
Modern fantasy done right
I was completely hooked by the story, the acting, the sound design, the music - just everything! What a great listen, I would absolutely love a second season. If you like myths, legends and an amazing multi-cast story this is the podcast for you
For long time, I've been looking for a podcast one part folk and other part horror. Tho Camlann was stronger on the folk part, I still liked it the best I could.
At first I couldn't believe it; looking at the cover, hearing the opening theme, slowly absorbing the ambience, it's The Crane Wives of fiction podcast.
I will find you in every media.
So, Arthurian characters, welsh mythology, knights and giants. This is honestly the first time I've seen them used in such manner. Grateful to see charac... more
